Spring 2017 

1. Next time, don’t let so many extra students into the class.  It was too crowded.  This class is open to non-majors and non-minors.  Some references weren’t understandable by students not in musical theatre. 

1. I liked this class.  Wish we had more time to work on the shop projects.  We should learn and have more time with the lighting and sound. 

1. The lighting and sound project was hard to get help because everyone was doing something different at the same time. 

1. This class was challenging but I still enjoyed it.  My favorite project was the sound project.  My least favorite was the lighting project. 

1. Scott is extremely knowledgeable about all areas of the course.  However, it was clear to me that my classmates do not respect him as an instructor, even though they like him.  Therefore, classes were often chaotic, and not much was accomplished.  The class was also too large to use time and materials effectively. 

1. Enjoyed the class.  Challenged me to think. 

1. We need more equipment if the class is going to be this big. 

1. Scott was a wonderful teacher of this course. 

1. One of the best teachers I have ever had!  So helpful and always there to answer your questions! 

1. Stronger Syllabus.  Overall great, strong, and clear class with great objectives and projects.  I learned a lot.
