Senior- Tatiana Padro

In 2018 I revitalized the end of year Dance Demo into a growing and thriving student run recital. When I came on in 16-17 Dance Demo was run under fluorescent work lights and was used mostly as a way to present final dance pieces to the dance faculty for grading. Some students and family would attend. in 2018 I asked to design lights for the show. In 2021, I started incorporating students to help organize which order the pieces would be placed in the program allowing for costume changes and rest in between for the students who sign up for way to many dances. By 2023 projections and simple backgrounds were added. We developed a plan to have a student representative for each class cohort that is modeled so the seniors pass their knowledge to the juniors to carry into the next year. In 2025 we added a faculty mentor to limit the amount of dances we would show and put more emphasis on quality or quantity.

Barbie Themed

Each May several of the dance classes, student choreographers and each Class cohort put on Dance Demo, an end of year review. Since 2018 I have volunteered to advise student leadership and design lights for the dance pieces culminating with the senior group number. This year finished with a class cohort ensemble dance themed to the new Barbie movie.
