A workshop of a new musical in partnership with CREATETHEATER

This new musical is a mashup of Shakespeare’s stories.

The plot centers on Shakespeare’s famous witches, who magically transport nine of their fellow characters — including Juliet, Helena, Hermia, Viola, and Ophelia — into a forest. The witches’ intention is to give the women a more “fair shake” in the world. In this setting, the characters explore love, loss, identity, and the constraints of gender roles, forging their own sense of self
