Red- Franklin Stage
Scenic & Lighting Design- a play about Mark Rothko and his assistant that questions the philosophy of Modern Art and what it takes to be a great artist. The design is based on Rothko’s NY studio. During the play Rothko and his assistant prime a large painting. We hired a local artist to paint replicas of Rothko’s that were found around his studio.
